How Image Unblur handles your account, your photos, and payment information
2026/09/26
Welcome to Image Unblur ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you visit our website and use our tool to unblur images, why we need it, and the choices you have.
When you sign up with email, Google, or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture if your provider shares one. We use this to create your account, let you sign in, and send account emails such as email verification and password resets.
To unblur an image, we need to receive it. When you start a job, your photo is uploaded to private cloud storage linked to your account. It is then sent to our AI processing provider, which runs the Basic or Pro model and returns the result. The result is also stored privately so you can view and download it.
Before you sign in or top up credits, the tool may keep a copy of the image you selected in your own browser for up to one hour, so it is still there when you come back. This copy stays on your device.
Payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe or Creem). We never see or store your full card number. We keep records of your purchases, subscription status, and credit balance and history so we can deliver what you paid for and answer billing questions.
If you contact us, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address, and message.
Our hosting and security services process technical data such as your IP address, browser, device, requested pages, and errors. When enabled, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, including clicks, scrolling, and session replays. See our Cookie Policy for details.
